The school’s curriculum includes an expanded implementation of the Ministry of Education’s Program of Studies. It provides enhanced teaching in Mathematics, Natural Sciences (STEM), Career Orientation (Career & Learning Academy), and English.
The program is further enriched with activities aimed at enhancing life skills, focusing on leadership, digital literacy, personal development, and culture.
Education is conducted and strengthened at all levels through an experiential approach to teaching, interdisciplinarity, differentiation methods, the use of educational technology, and connecting theory to the real world.
Services
• Experiential activities to raise students’ awareness on issues related to self-awareness, peer relationships, communication, teamwork, and social perception
• Psychoeducational seminars on organizing homework, time management, stress management, task management, and more
• Personalized learning guidance and support (learning difficulties, attention deficit, etc.)
• A series of two-hour afternoon psychoeducational experiential workshops for the parents, focusing on everyday issues related to the developmental stage of adolescence and the management of specific challenges.
The school has a medical office, where a general practitioner is available daily to provide immediate medical assistance to students in need.
Students are transported to and from the School in the AFS school buses. Experienced drivers and attendants are responsible for the safe and timely transfer of the students to and from the Haseotes Middle School throughout the school year.
The bus routes are studied carefully and are always designed to provide the best possible service, while ensuring the safe transportation of our students.
The Haseotes Middle School offers career orientation experiences to students and provides guidance to choosing career paths and to planning their next steps based on long-term goals.
The Career and Learning Academy program gives students the opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary projects related to real-world issues in the following fields:
• Health – Environment
• Technology – Engineering
• Art – Communication
• Law – Literature
• Leadership – Entrepreneurship
The program is part of the mandatory curriculum and takes place during one or two school hours each week.
The afternoon extra-curricular program takes place after the end of the mandatory program and includes a number of Clubs (such as Debate, School of Rock, Sports, Model UN, and more) aimed at showcasing and cultivating the various skills, natural inclinations, and talents of the students.
The American Farm School places a premium on the security of our students, staff and families. Security guards are stationed at all the entrances and exit points in order to ensure the safety of our students.
The security of the campus, including staff, students, resident students and visitors, is ensured by the Campus Security Office. The department’s personnel conduct patrols throughout the day covering all areas within the School and those surrounding the premises.
In the same vein, the Haseotes Middle School adheres to regulations that ensure the safe transportation of our students, within or outside the school, during the school program, and during outings and field trips.
