Education
Our distinguishing feature is high-level professional training and experiential education is our trademark. The educational/demonstration farm and modern laboratories allow us to offer lessons in real-world conditions, combining knowledge with hands-on experience.
In addition to the curriculum, all students receive courses in professional English terminology and computer usage.
Furthermore, we strengthen our students with additional skills, which are certified after attending relevant courses in:
• Rational use of agricultural pesticides
• Driving agricultural tractors
• Artificial insemination
• Educational programs through the Lifelong Learning Center of the A.G.S.
Our graduates can continue their studies at Perrotis College, as well as at universities in the country.

Student Dormitory
Junior College students have the opportunity to live within the school’s facilities in the student dormitories. Life in the dormitory offers a comprehensive, positive educational experience in a comfortable and modern environment that encourages personal and social development, as well as respect for diversity.
Services
A Mental Health Counselor is always available to support students both academically and psycho-socially. Students have the opportunity for individual sessions regarding stress management, social issues, and conflict resolution.
A doctor is available on the institution’s premises every weekday, and if necessary, students can be referred to the Health Center of Thermi or to a nearby hospital in Thessaloniki.
Our facilities include a sports center with an indoor and outdoor basketball court, a soccer field, tennis courts, and gym equipment with weights. Students have the opportunity to exercise and have fun between their academic responsibilities, keeping both their mind and body healthy.
The Alumni Office aims to strengthen the ties between alumni and the institution, as well as foster networking and collaboration among alumni. The bonds that are created within a community like the American Farm School provide valuable support, especially during the early stages of alumni’s professional careers and their subsequent personal journeys. The Alumni Office seeks to encourage both professional and social connections among members while maintaining a lifelong relationship between alumni and the institution.
The Career Development and Career Services Office supports students and alumni by:

Scholarship Program
The Junior College scholarships are awarded following the evaluation of an application dossier that includes the academic and personal details of the applicant, as well as the economic and social data of the applicant and/or their family. The scholarships cover the 2 years of study and, depending on the case, the cost of living, provided that the conditions for awarding the scholarship continue to be met and the beneficiaries demonstrate excellent conduct.

The Junior College is housed in the newly built “Aliki Perrotis” Educational Center.
The center consists of three floors totaling 3,500 m² and two parallel wings connected by a courtyard. It includes classrooms, study rooms, laboratories, auditoriums, and shared educational spaces. Students also have access to the standard “Dimitris & Aliki Perrotis” library, an inspiring learning environment that encourages both collective and individual academic performance, enhancing teaching, learning, and research.
The school’s Educational Farm, with its modern facilities, provides hands-on training in real production conditions, not just in classrooms and laboratories.
